Archuleta A.
Chisolm, is the
Founder and Director of Artfully Speaking - a writing ministry that
encourages people, particularly women, to achieve success over their
struggles in life and walk in their destiny. With her book of poetry,
Heaven Knows Your Existence, the Artfully Speaking E-Newsletter, and
Monday Motivator, Archuleta uplifts the spirit with her conversational style
of writing. In 2007, Archuleta launched Inspired Soul, Inc – a nonprofit
committed to nurturing the true spirit of women and youth. The mission is
to provide various programs and opportunities that foster positive
self-worth and education.
Archuleta is an inspirational writer, author, poet, facilitator, and
speaker. She began writing at the age of ten years old. Her Nana bought
her a composition book and encouraged her to write stories and poetry.
Soon, it became an outlet for handling adversities at home. She continued
to write in high school, participated in several competitions, and published
her first poem while still in college.
Archuleta has spoken at various church events, community health fairs,
women’s groups, facilitated career and scholarship workshops for students,
and presented spoken word for local events. She has also been featured
twice in the on-line magazine, The Nubian Chronicles
For eight years, Archuleta served in the U.S. Army Reserve with the 325th
Field Hospital unit in Independence, Missouri. In addition, she has worked
for over ten years as an Accountant in various industries, such as
insurance, transportation, and financial services
Archuleta
has now joined Minister Gerald Palmer as co-host on the KGGN 890AM radio
broadcast, A Closer Look. Her weekly Inspired Soul Moment is an
inspirational segment especially for women.
She is an active member of Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ under the
auspices of Bishop W.B. Henderson. She has worked with the Shepherd’s
Ministry, Women’s Christian Council, and taught bible study.
Archuleta is a member of The Writer’s Place, KC Poets, Kansas City Writers,
Divas in Christ Network, and serves as Director of College Relations with
the National Black MBA Association (Kansas City Chapter).
Archuleta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DeVry
University, and an MBA degree from Baker University. She lives with her
husband, Albert, in Raymore, Missouri.
